Exploring Gravity
Movement Workshop with Vive
Battery Dance, 380 Broadway, New York, NY
November 14-15-16, 2025

Join us for Exploring Gravity, a three-day immersive movement workshop at Battery Dance in New York City, led in collaboration with acclaimed contemporary dancer and choreographer Vive.

This workshop invites dancers and movers to explore the forces of gravity through the lens of soft acrobatics, mindful movement, and the pursuit of continuity and fluidity in motion. Together, we’ll investigate how gravity shapes our momentum, balance, and spatial awareness—unlocking new pathways for movement that are both grounded and expansive.

Through guided improvisation, floorwork, partnering, and creative exploration, participants will develop tools for moving with greater ease, awareness, and expressive clarity. Vive brings a distinctive approach that blends technical depth with sensitivity and intuition, offering an experience that is both physically engaging and creatively liberating.

Whether you’re a professional dancer or an experienced mover, Exploring Gravity offers a space to deepen your movement practice, reconnect with your body, and discover new ways of relating to the floor, space, and others.

Physical Poetry
Movement Workshop in Amsterdam
Movement Amsterdam, Overschiestraat 188
November 29–30, 2025
11:00 – 15:00 daily

After years of focusing on the technical foundations of the Acro Flow method, it’s time to take the next step—a deeper journey that places artistic and holistic movement at the forefront.

Welcome to Physical Poetry, a two-day workshop hosted by Movement Amsterdam, where movement becomes language and the body becomes a vessel for authentic expression.

This concept invites you beyond structure and form, integrating Acro Flow techniques with tools for discovering your unique movement voice. Drawing from a rich background in physical education, martial arts, mindful practices, and freestyle improvisation, this workshop offers a space where stillness meets motion, calm meets challenge, and art meets control.
